What is the eVault Secured Site-Seal? |
The eVault Secured Site-Seal is licensed to Web sites that use eVault
digital certificates to enable the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to
secure communications between Web browsers and the Web site.

How do web sites qualify to use the eVault Secured Site-Seal?

To qualify to use the eVault Secured Site-Seal, an applicant must first
submit an application form and certain information to eVault Inc. ("eVault")
or a local registration authority (LRA) authorized by eVault. This
information is then checked according to the procedures and criteria set
forth in the eVault SSL Web Server Certification Practice Statement. If the
information is confirmed according to the procedures and criteria
established, eVault will issue an eVault digital certificate to the
applicant and grant the applicant a license to display the eVault Secured
Site-Seal on the Web site on which the applicant installs the eVault digital
certificate pursuant to the eVault Secured Site-Seal License Agreement. |
